Lisbon Explorer Private Service: Terms and Conditions:

LOGISTICS

•Your Lisbon Explorer guide will meet you at the assigned meeting point, equipped with maps of the city.
•Taxis, public transit and museum entrance fees are usually included. Be sure to check each tour description for exactly what is covered. Some sights may require an entrance fee for children, please ask us about specific sites and entrance fees if this is a concern.
•Please make sure shoulders and knees are covered when visiting churches and basilicas. Dress codes can be strictly enforced by security at some locations. Lisbon Explorer cannot be held responsible for guests who are denied access to locations due to improper dress.
•Please call us the day before your scheduled itinerary, between 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm Lisbon time, to confirm that your itinerary is still scheduled. Lisbon is a dynamic city and itinerary details can shift unexpectedly from time to time.

PAYMENTS

•Payments for tours are accepted in cash, credit card or by PayPal. On-site payments can only be accepted in cash.
•Reservations must be paid-in-full at the scheduled departure time.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY- LIBERAL AND FLEXIBLE

•If an itinerary is canceled for any reason by either party, Lisbon Explorer Tours cannot be held liable for any fees, expenses, or monetary losses related to transportation, accommodations, food, illness, or travel expenses by guests, their agents, representatives, or associates.
•We also know that traveling can be an unpredictable adventure so we will NOT hold you responsible for cancellations due to transport delays, strikes, extreme weather conditions, or any other events beyond your control. We simply ask for the courtesy of a phone call 24 hours in advance in these situations.
•Refunds CAN BE AVAILABLE for Private tours! Cancellations and complete refunds of any tour can be made free of charge. refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
•Please arrive early, departure times are exact, unless there are unavoidable delays. We are not sticklers and we know that your plans can change unexpectedly due a variety of reasons.
•Refunds requested at the END of the tour will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
•No-shows are non-refundable.

•When booking a tour or service, we will request specific Guest details, such as your name, your e-mail address and other personal information. We require this information to ensure that we may contact you should there be any unexpected change in schedule.
•Your information will be used only and exclusively in relation to the service or tour you have reserved. Lisbon Explorer will NOT distribute any of your information to third parties.
•With the exception of any processing for historical or statistical purposes, your personal data will not be retained in its nominal form for any longer than the period necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was requested.

•Group sizes vary depending on the season and events in Lisbon, and we always staff extra guides during high season. Maximum group sizes are between 4 and 8 adults, depending on the itinerary.

•If guests are not satisfied with the tour departure time, meeting location, group size, or other logistics, they may request a refund in-person at the tour meeting time. An on-site refund request will terminate a guests reservation and a complete refund will be issued within 48 hours.
•Refunds CAN BE AVAILABLE for Group itineraries. Cancellations and complete refunds of any tour can be made free of charge and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Lisbon Explorer acts only as an agent for the various independent suppliers that provide hotel accommodations, transportation, sightseeing, activities, or other services connected with this tour. Such services are subject to the terms and conditions of those suppliers. Lisbon Explorer and their respective employees, agents, representatives, and assigns accept no liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or any other incident which may be caused by the negligence, defect, default of any company or person in performing these services. Responsibility is not accepted for losses, injury, damages or expenses of any kind due to sickness, weather, strikes, hostilities, wars, terrorist acts, acts of nature, local laws or other such causes. All services and accommodations are subject to the laws and regulations of the country in which they are provided. Lisbon Explorer is not responsible for any baggage or personal effects of any individual participating in the tours / trips arranged by Lisbon Explorer Individual travelers are responsible for purchasing a travel insurance policy, if desired, that will cover some of the expenses associated with the loss of luggage, personal effects, or delayed flights and missed reservations. Lisbon Explorer possesses Crisis Management and Insurance Liability Plans. In addition, they request their independent suppliers to posses Crisis Management and Insurance Liability Plans. By making a reservation with Lisbon Explorer, each customer accepts the terms & conditions of our group and private tour services, and this Responsibility Disclaimer Statement For All Tour Related Services.
